Waltz after Lasse in Lyby arr. Danish String Quartet
This week we have used multi-tracking to play a song together!
From DSQ's performance notes: "Lasse in Lyby was a fiddler in the southern part of Sweden... He played this little waltz so often that it now bears his name. A waltz is also a dance in 3/4 time - a strong beat followed by two weaker.... Imagining the deep forests of Sweden and the lonely Lasse with his fiddle, we decided to slow down this waltz to the point of disintegration."
