This season's concert is about taking turns in the spotlight, stretching the concept of the string quartet. Come see each of our musicians step up to play some solo repertoire while the rest of us form their backing ensemble!
Expect an array of string solo music, ranging from Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto to the Lion King’s Shadowland - this is a high-quality concert for all ages and tastes!

We supported the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Choir for a concert of love songs arranged for choir, string quartet and band.
Our cellist Karen Cortez also premiered SGLC's commissioned work, Tiny Love Stories by Ben van Tienen for choir, piano and cello. The piece was a multi-movement work, about different types of love as experienced by SGLC choristers.
